During the course of the pandemic, most of us have taken up the opportunity to refurnish our homes making it a safe haven that not only revolves around comfort, but also makes us feel more human and connected to the elements. Set on the coast of north-west Italy, the combination between Villa N’s eco-sustainable architecture and Flexform’s elegant indoor-outdoor furniture seamlessly achieves this objective.
The concept for this project is designed by architect Daniele Giordano and Studio GHA4U for a single-family home which has been bestowed with many prestigious international awards, including The Plan Award 2017, Live Outside the Box 2015, Best Housing Development and Project of the Year 2017, just to name a few.
Featuring some of Flexform’s 2020 timeless collection, the corner arrangement of the Asolo seating system coupled with a pair of Tessa armchairs and Pico and Fly coffee/ side tables comfortably furnish the area adjacent to the wood-panelled fireplace.
The open-plan kitchen has a light-hearted vibe achieved with the First Steps bar stools placed in front of the island, while the Pico dining table is surrounded by comfortable upholstered Joyce dining chairs.
Villa N’s intimate, cozy bedroom has one of Flexform’s bestsellers, the Gregory bed, which is paired with a Piuma bedside table and Guscio armchair, creating a space that is effortlessly Zen to unwind amongst the calm and clean aesthetics.
The exterior of the home takes advantage of the presence of three key elements such as the massive oak tree, the infinity pool and the outdoor fireplace. Four Atlante daybeds placed poolside offer stunning views of the Gulf with its simple yet generous contemporary style.
