The Cartier panther collection is still going strong more than 100 years since 1914 when Louis Cartier first adopted the animal in jewellery. The Panthère Sentinelle ring is part of Cartier’s latest collection of the iconic feline. The opulent ring has one sugarloaf cabochon-cut peridot weighing 37.8 carats that is vivid green with a dash of yellow. Handcrafted in 380 hours, the interchangeable centre stones embody the art of transparency with a decadent crystallisation. Also available in one sugarloaf cabochon-cut aquamarine weighing 31.66 carats, the band is made out of white gold, and the gemstone itself is surrounded by onyx, emeralds, and diamonds to embody the panther’s spotted coat and the personification of its prowess.
