Sold for CHF7,048,000, the earliest made and previously unknown to the market timepiece is one of only three examples known to date with a cloisonné enamel dial. The watch doubled its presale estimate and achieved two new world records: the highest price ever achieved for a Patek Philippe wristwatch with an enamel cloisonné dial and for any yellow gold wristwatch sold at an auction.
