Metrology (METAS) to test the main functional characteristics of a watch including precision, resistance to magnetic fields, waterproofness and power reserve, the Black Bay Ceramic in 41mm diameter case is the first watch from the brand to obtain the Master Chronometer Certification. Minimalist yet bold, the watch has a matt black monobloc ceramic case with sand-blasted surfaces, bevelled edges, and is mirror-polished. With the rotatable bezel and dial also black on black, the only contrast seen here is its applied hour markers with an off-white phosphorescent material. To complete the piece, the strap is made out of hybrid leather and rubber, all in black of course.
