In Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter 21 show, men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh revealed a glimpse of his approach to circular creativity. Look 42 comprised a long coat and a Keepall bag, both crafted in an innovative textile composed of 43 per cent certified organic cotton,

20 per cent recycled wool-based jacquard and 100 per cent recycled polyester derived from existing stocks. Even the lining is made of 100 per cent recycled polyester, while the chain and corners are produced using

70 per cent recycled plastic. For straps and handles, only Leather Working Group-certified leather – the most exacting environmental label for tanning – is chosen. Now, Abloh takes his dedication to sustainability further with the collective Felt Line, which includes the Keepall XS and the Soft Trunk in the eco-responsible materials.
