Running one of the country’s popular zerowaste businesses, Seedy Zero Waste Store in Kota Kemuning stocks a huge variety of organic and healthy foods as well as everyday household products like toothbrushes, soaps and sanitary products.

“I started this zero-waste movement as a role model to my kids. I want them to live in a better future,” says Grace.

Aside from running her store, Grace serves as an advocate that actively runs various kinds of workshops with neighbourhood communities, NGOs, as well as university students.

“I utilise my knowledge to educate and raise awareness on how easy and beneficial leading a zero-waste life can be. With more people aware of this movement, a lot of them are not sure where to start, so I serve as the person that connects them to this lifestyle and educates them,” says Grace.

Pre-pandemic, Grace was a common face hosting events such as clothing swap drive, green markets, soapmaking and skincare workshops. With more activities planned this year, she hopes to be able to reach the masses to lead meaningful zero-waste lives.
