In celebration of the storied six decades-long career of The Glen Grant’s master distiller Dennis Malcolm, the distillery has launched a limited-edition 60-year-old single malt scotch whisky. Available in limited quantities, The Glen Grant 60 Years Old is part of Campari Group’s RARE division focusing on the most premium offerings for the portfolio. The deep, chestnut-coloured liquid was bottled from a single ex-Oloroso sherry cask that was filled on Oct 24, 1960 – the oldest distillery bottling to date in the brand’s 181-year history. On the palate, the whisky is reminiscent of a rich fruit cake with just a hint of smokiness, and a finish that lingers long after each sip.
