Making a comeback since the ‘70s, interest in the Girard-Perregaux’s visionary Casquette has most definitely been renewed. The Casquette 2.0 upholds the design of the original but is now encased in ceramic and Grade 5 titanium as well as a new quartz movement. The iconic LED display allows the wearer to view the time on demand, thus preserving its battery life for up to 2 years. With production limited to only 820 pieces this time around, many watch enthusiasts are awaiting with bated breath for the possibility of more Casquettes in the near future.
