PROFESSOR DATUK DR. ADEEBA KAMARULZAMAN
CHAIRPERSON MALAYSIAN AIDS FOUNDATION
Acclaimed infectious disease expert Professor Datuk Dr. Adeeba Kamarulzaman is the current Chairperson of the Malaysian A IDS Foundation. As an educator, researcher and activist, the professor dedicates her efforts to combating HI V/A IDS. In 2021, she was appointed as a member of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Science Council. In the same year, the former Universiti Malaya (UM) medical faculty dean became the first Asian to be appointed as President of the International AIDS Society( I AS ). Today, she still shares her expertise on infectious diseases, advising the public on matters such as COV ID-19 measures.
