Aēsop continues its long-term partnership with Barnabé Fillion in the beguiling creation of Eidesis Eau de Parfum, which echoes the story of Narcissus. The hypnotic aroma paints a picture of earthy landscapes, iridescent florals, and liquid stillness. Eidesis belongs to a collection of distinct fragrances titled Othertopias, expressing transportive scents inspired by liminal spaces.

Eidesis portrays the space of the self and the struggle between interior and exterior worlds. The fragrance honours the imaginary worlds beyond the mirror’s reflection as it fuses floral notes with an earthy base. Provocative yet comforting, the top notes blend sparkling Petitgrain and spicy black pepper. A floral accord gives way to the heart where frankincense, cumin and cedar weave a spell as it rests into a base of sandalwood, cedar, and vetiver. The perfume is packaged in a glass bottle and encased in a carton featuring artwork by Belfast-based painter Jack Coulter.
