A FINE RESURRECTION
First introduced in 2004, Louis Vuitton’s Empreinte collection is distinctive for its immediately recognisable designs, which draw their essence from the maison’s emblematic codes. Now, a new chapter delivers results in bold creations with contemporary designs.
A NEW CHAPTER
B.P. de Silva’s debut high jewellery collection sees magnificent one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate each of its five generations spanning the brand’s 150 years. Stand-out jewels include the Grand Plush Sapphire Necklace, which honours the jeweller’s second generation. The stunning piece flaunts a rare 10.5-carat unheated emerald-cut yellow sapphire at its heart that is accentuated by 1,944 round diamonds. Commemorating the third generation are the Deco Empire Morganite Earrings featuring two oval-cut morganites that steal the spotlight.
LOVE YOURSELF
Be it a gift to reward, treat or encourage yourself, My Happy Hearts is Chopard’s latest collection of dainty jewellery that is made for wearers to acquire for themselves on a whim. The range draws from the maison’s signature design codes of the heart and dancing diamonds, featuring jewels in the new proportions. Offered in ethical rose or white gold, the charming necklaces, chain bracelets, rings and earrings all flaunt a single heart in carnelian, mother-of-pearl or diamonds. My Happy Hearts rings and earrings are also available in versions with a dancing diamond, which can be worn singly or stacked depending on the wearer’s mood or outfit.
LATEST ITERATIONS
Launched in 1968, Boucheron’s Serpent Bohème collection has transcended time to become one of the maison’s most iconic ranges with its emblematic codes of the diamondstudded droplet, honeycomb latticework and embossed gold. The new line, Serpent Bohème Solarité, now boasts statement pieces flaunting exceptional radiance. Perfect for bold fashion mavens are the oversized ear hoops, asymmetric earrings that unfold behind the ear, and the stunning necklace in white or yellow gold with diamond-set drop motifs and beads of gold encircling the neck like a glistening halo.
Deserving special mention is the D-Renaissance jewellery from Dior’s Autumn/Winter 22-23 ready-to-wear collection. Executed mainly in brass, the intricate creations of earrings, rings, a headband and this ornate neckpiece exude fine craftsmanship and finesse hardly seen in costume jewellery. Deploying haute joaillerie savoir faire, Dior artisans combine the lightness of lace with resin beads and rhinestones, which are hand-applied individually with the utmost precision.
MINIMALIST BEAUTY
Equipped with the manufacture’s automatic HMC 804 calibre with a flying tourbillon, H. Moser & Cie.’s red gold Streamliner with an integrated bracelet owes its ultra-chic look to a striking Vantablack dial. The high contrast between both materials is further accentuated by red gold indices that are akin to rays of light piercing through the darkest substance in existence. As if floating in the middle of a black hole, the one-minute flying tourbillon positioned at six o’clock is the driving force behind the 40 mm Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack.
A NEW SPACE
In partnership with watch retailer Swiss Watch, Bell & Ross opens its first boutique in Mid Valley Megamall (fifth boutique in the country). The 1,100 sq-ft street front address combines sleek materials and aeronautical elements that pay tribute to an aircraft’s cockpit.
