NUSA
Presented by the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, the NUSA exhibition marks the reopening of the National Art Gallery’s main galleries after a lengthy closure due to large-scale renovations. As “Nusa” means motherland, the selected works explore the concept of the motherland relating to superdiversity in the context of a multicultural nation and region. The selection of works includes masterpieces embodying the notion of familiarity, such as William Samwell’s “River Pergau State of Kelantan” from the 19th century, alongside Chinese brush paintings by Chung Chen Sun.
