WILD ALLURE
The beauty of the latest Dior Maison collections lies in the fact that while the designs are all inspired by nature and artfully interpreted, the homeware and accessories are so different that they are perfect for rotating through various seasons and moods without losing that ultra-luxe touch. The Aquarius line, designed by Cordelia de Castellane, poetically evokes the river that flows past the mill at Monsieur Christian Dior’s country home in Milly-la-Forêt, where he often found refuge from bustling Paris. The Tutti Frutti line, also designed by de Castellane, is sunny weather-appropriate with its colourful fruit motifs and Italian hand-blown glass. Meanwhile, Dior’s signature intense blue toile de Jouy has been reinvented by Maria Grazia Chiuri, who bestows the classic aesthetic with a wild bestiary on an enchanting collection of Limoges porcelain.
