Showcasing works from the likes of Rotella, Savini, Ventrone, Rainaldi, Giannoni, Leone, Holliday and Kroll, this exhibition explores various media and contemporary art dating back to the 1960s. Artwork include the double decollages of Mimmo Rotella, incredible chewing gum structures by Savini and romantic oil paintings by Frank Holliday. A SOLO EXHIBITION BY KIM CHANIL ( KR)
Mizuma Gallery delves into Korean art this December with the debut of Kim Chanil’s solo exhibition. The Line-series is a display of intellectually stimulating and elegant artworks that take the form of threedimensional structured canvases. The artworks exist somewhere between sculpture and painting, with critics often referring to the works as ‘post-painterly’ or ‘ drawing object’. BALENCIAGA: SHAPING FASHION
Spanish couturier Cristobal Balenciaga was known as a perfectionist – in fact, he was so precise that he sometimes matched his own fabric colours by using only a few threads picked up off the floor. In tribute to his exacting process, the Victoria and Albert Museum presents Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion. More than 100 garments will be on show.
