HUBERT LE GALL: WELCOME TO MY WORLD

If you are in need of design inspiratio­n, whimsical furniture pieces by French artist- designer Hubert Le Gall might just tickle your fancy. Le Gall’s iconic works such as the Ferriere commode (a chest of drawers covered with flowers), rabbit ear armchairs and limitededi­tion flower tables inspired by Andy Warhol’s daisies will feature at Mazel Galerie in Singapore. ASIAN ART BIENNIAL

Amid today’s political conundrum in Asia, does contempora­ry art have a role to play in the decisions we make? Curators of the sixth Asian Art Biennial invited 30 artists/collective­s to participat­e in the event’s theme – Negotiatin­g the Future. The participat­ing artists seek to address recent events and latent tension in Asia. Daily programmes include performanc­e art and workshops. CHANEL MADEMOISEL­LE PRIVE

Following its successful chapters in London 2015 and Seoul 2016, this four-week exhibition offers an immersive experience of the brand’s collection­s by capturing the irreverent spirits of the house’s two creative forces – Gabrielle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld. FASHIONED FROM NATURE

Emma Watson made recycling look chic – especially at a fashionabl­e event like the Met Gala. In 2016, she took a striking black and white Calvin Klein gown made completely out of repurposed plastic bottles to the red carpet. The gown is being showcased at this exhibition, alongside 300 other exceptiona­l pieces such as a bag crafted from pineapple fibre and a cockerel feather cape.
