The Truth About Whole Grains
Whole grains are one of the healthiest foods available. A high intake of whole grains protects against Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases – and researchers have managed to find out how in a new study led by the University of Eastern Finland. Following a 12-week diet rich in whole grain products, research participants registered increased levels of betaine compounds.
