Located in a quiet corner, Nexo offers dining on the tranquil interior oasis or along the open-sided exterior of Nexus, a newish integrated venue in Bangsar South.

There’s no escaping it: Nexo is a pork paradise, hog heaven and swine sanctuary. It’s not just any pork though but rather, prized Spanish Iberico jamón in its many forms.

• A few dishes such as suckling lamb leg are listed but this and one or two others require one day’s advance order.

• Tapas is the way to go for starters, with two delicious dishes being Iberico jowl with a sauce made from balsamic reduction, and fried pork terrine with garlic aioli.

• A main of Iberico lomo showcases several tender moist slices of pan-seared rib loin with a piquant balsamic and olive oil sauce and accompanied by mashed potatoes.
