Ferdinand’s at Sutera Harbour
WHY GO
Views of magnificent sunsets, a suitably romantic setting, top-notch service and excellent food—if the chairs are more comfortable, you may not want to leave.
TATLER TIPS
Oft mooted as one of the best fine dining restaurants in town, Ferdinand’s offers surprisingly reasonable prices.
• The tomato-based seafood soup of crab, mussels, scallops, cods, prawn and lobster, is flambéd by the table and absolutely delicious, as is the newly created purple carrot soup with Asiago cheese beignet.
• For a lip-smacking main, the signature grilled Wagyu ribeye steak with bone marrow sauce, shavings of parmesan cheese and mashed potato is a sound choice.
• The baba’ alla birra— baba in stout beer sauce, served with orange crème brulee—turns out to be quite scrumptious.
