While pork may hog the limelight on the menu, it’s not the only meat on offer. There is also a sound selection of alternatives. Considering that some of the key items on offer are imported, Nexo’s prices are pleasantly reasonable.
Several dishes offer what is considered one of the best cured meats in the world and a platter of thinly sliced jamon Serrano is the best way to go to appreciate it. Whole suckling pig is the pièce de résistance but not a dish for impulsive diners as it needs to be pre-booked. As a very admirable substitute, tuck into the Iberico ovenroasted spare ribs thickly coated with apple and barbecue sauce, which are delicious with a rich, creamy and slightly nutty flavour.
