The menu at The Restaurant is now a mixed bag of Western, Asian and fusion dishes. Vietnamese beef tartare and Atlantic cod poached in coconut Thai-style stand alongside the likes of slow-cooked lamb cannelloni.
The sweet corn “veloute” seabass cheeks comprises creamy sweet corn soup married with fresh buttered seabass cheeks and cauliflower panna cotta—a very well prepared dish with smooth texture and excellent flavours. For hot appetisers, try the pan-roasted duck breast, which is nicely complemented by a beetroot and walnut salad. Be sure to order the Black Angus beef, which is cooked sou-vide, and gorgeously paired with truffle croquette, anise carrots and an onion “soil” broccoli puree.
