The trio of roasted duck, siew yoke (roasted pork) and char siew (sweet barbecued pork) is a perennial crowdpleaser here but the appetiser section has plenty of inventive choices too, such as the Szechuan smoked fish and chilled pork knuckle slices with garlic-chilli dip. Savour excellent interpretation of classics such as braised eggplant with fish in claypot, and braised sea cucumber with goose web as well as more contemporary renditions of spinach with crabmeat and salted egg, and stir-fried mee sua with shredded meat and seafood.
