WHY GO

Within its sleek and modern exterior, Di Wei presents you with mouth-watering Chinese cuisine that is guaranteed to please even the most discerning diner.

WHAT TO ORDER

The double-boiled apple and glass carp fish soup is an appetising start to this Chinese banquet. Large pieces of fried glass carp swim in the flavourful broth while the soft pieces of apple add a tinge of sweetness to the overall taste.

The crispy roasted pi pa duck is a house specialty. The skin of the duck is perfectly crispy and the meat is moist and flavourful. The deep-fried prawns with butter and cereal is another winner. The prawns are fresh and crispy and the butter and cereal mix give the dish a rich crunch.

Pork lovers will enjoy the baked spare ribs in homemade sauce. The tender ribs are succulent and slide off the bone while the delicious sauce give the ribs a rich, smoky flavour, similar to that of bak kut teh. The asparagus and abalone with shrimp paste is another good choice. The abalone is cooked just right and contrasts beautifully with the crunchy asparagus while the shrimp paste sauce gives the dish a spicy kick.

For dessert, the osmanthus jelly cubes are just the right amount of sweetness and the bits of osmanthus are a nice surprise inside the springy jelly.
