Opus Bistro

This fuss-free Italian bistro might not be the jazziest joint in town, but those living near Jalan Bangkung return for the familiar environs and kind hospitality. Rarely is your appetiser served beyond 15 minutes of ordering, and the ensuing dishes are brought out at a steady pace through out your meal. While the simple plating doesn’t inspire diners to whip out their smartphones, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing—customers can focus on the flavours of their food instead of the frills. We doff our hat to Opus Bistro’s suppliers, for the seafood here is always fresh. Order Opus’ famous Shellfish Surprise or the Spaghetti ala Opus to see what we mean. While Italian wines by the bottle are aplenty, we would like to see more Italian wines by the glass here.
