Largely frequented by holidayers residing in the Shangri-la itself, this beachside café with a billiards table is a plus point for families with children—there’s ribeye steak and strong cocktails for the grown-ups, and pasta and pizza for fussy younger eaters. An air-conditioned area is available for those who want to avoid getting hot and sticky, but why pass off the chance to dine alfresco and in close proximity to the sound of the crashing waves? During peak hour, it might be slightly hard to signal to the servers, who are a bit too laid back for our liking.
