Brasserie Fritz
Positioned between one of The Troika’s skybridges and the entrance to its sister restaurant Cantaloupe, Brasserie Fritz’s ever-appealing views of the city centre provide a cosmopolitan contrast with their selection of fruits de mer platters, plats, and French wines, all of which are firmly rooted in France’s brasserie traditions. Within their modestly sized menu are well-established brasserie standards like escargots de Bourgogne but there’s enough room for French classics that are often overlooked in Malaysia - a whole rainbow trout topped with almonds and butter, for instance, and smoked anchovies on grilled sourdough toast. And don’t leave without a glass of their famed hot chocolate, made entirely from single origin beans sourced from Brazil, Ecuador, Tanzania and Malaysia. The Malaysian beans are then aged in used Glenfiddich whiskey barrels. If there’s a finer way to enjoy this drink, we’re certainly all ears.
