The Kebaya Dining Room has always been one of our favourite Penang establishments for entertaining guests. The owners have done a great job refurbishing this antiquated row of houses into a boutique hotel and restaurant. Its exquisite dining room is beautifully decorated and its efficient bar has a cosy little area to have drinks before dinner. The food also never disappoints, and the very efficient staff always recommends the right dishes. Its best strength is its ambiance, due to owner Chris Ong’s close attention to detail, not only for space but in the food too. This is a great place to throw a private party.
