The Art of Living
Designed by a master and finessed by the top in their field, Le Nouvel KLCC offers the finest in location, design and lifestyle
IYKYK. An acronym that implies that you need to be privy to some insider knowledge about a specific experience. Something that could be said about Le Nouvel KLCC
– the exclusive development by Wing Tai Asia located right next to the Petronas Twin Towers.
Even surrounded by other architectural wonders, the stunning buildings catch the eye of all those passing it although not everyone might know that these biophilic towers are the creation of maestro architect, Jean Nouvel. The French architect who won architecture’s highest accolade, The Pritzker
Prize, is a genius at articulating the relationship of his brilliant works within the context of their respective environments.
And so it is with Le Nouvel KLCC where Nouvel has created a landmark in the vein of his other projects like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Paris Philharmonic Hall. Nouvel has also delivered another project for Wing Tai Asia, in Le
Nouvel Ardmore which is located at one of Singapore’s most exclusive addresses, 1A Ardmore Park.
DESIGNED FOR LIFE
Comprising two 49 and 43-storey towers, the structures showcase the bold, architectural style the acclaimed architect has become synonymous with. Its striking glass and steel facade is lush with plantings which represent the highest vine biodiversity on a high rise building - masterminded by Nouvel in collaboration with
Patrick Blanc, the inventor of the vertical garden. Elevating Le Nouvel’s distinctive façade further is custom-designed illumination by award-winning lighting designing firm, L’observatoire International.
Only 195 units nestle within this lush Eden which range from 2 to 3 bedrooms and are ideal for families or an urban pied-àterre. Every unit is meticulously appointed with top-notch fixtures and fittings, including pure white marble flooring Italian
Lema wardrobes and German
Poggenpohl designed kitchens with household appliances from Miele.
To tease out the possibilities of Le Nouvel KLCC’S interiors, Koichiro Ikebuchi was commissioned to create a show unit. Well known for crafting interiors that evoke contemplation, this multi-award winning designer’s all-white space is a sophisticated sanctuary.
ITALIAN FLAIR
Renowned Italian designers, Saporiti Italia were also tasked with designing apartments to spark the imagination of potential purchases. The first is a visual feast with fine lines, dashes of colour and illusion of objects. Fine silk clad wallpaper in the living and dining room add a touch of elegance while luxurious calmness is made possible with special materials, carefully chosen paintings and upholstery details.
Playing off the organic lush surroundings, the other apartment is aptly named A Garden in the Sky. Using natural material in the most refined way, deft choices of precious materials and intricate details make up a stylish atmosphere. A specially curated series of art work from several young Italian artists accentuate the gracious “garden.”
AT YOUR SERVICE
Thoughtfully curated facilities are a natural extension of Le Nouvel KLCC’S privileged lifestyle.
Level 7 is dedicated to the swimming pool and bio pond which boasts a perspective of KLCC that’s so close, you can almost touch it . A gym, yoga room and other family friendly facilities such as the game, theatre and karaoke rooms can also be found here.
The towers are connected by a sky bridge on level 34 which offers uninterrupted views of the KL skyline. This level is also home to the business lounge, concierge and private dining area with a cigar/wine lounge. These elegant spaces were also designed by Saporiti Italia and allow residents to entertain gatherings of all sizes in splendid style.
One of the spaces features ceiling art which pays homage to the glass frit patterns found on the curtain wall by French multimedia artist, Marie Maillard which were then digitised by Japanese graphic artist Hiroshi Maeda.
A project so singular, it bears its creator’s name, Le Nouvel
KLCC is where art and design meet practicality and liveability in the heartbeat of Kuala Lumpur.
