This chic ca­sual din­ing restau­rant cum lounge boasts of a wide rang­ing yet af­ford­able food and drinks menu to sat­isfy most palates, oc­ca­sions and wal­lets.

The first thing that strikes you look­ing at the menu is the huge va­ri­ety on of­fer. A good place to start is with a plat­ter of freshly shucked oys­ters. Each piece is big and very fresh, of­fer­ing firm tex­ture and tastes of the sea.

Pas­tas are good here, in par­tic­u­lar the scal­lop aglio olio. The lin­guine is nicely al dente and goes down a treat with the scal­lops, al­beit the dish sway­ing too heav­ily to the spicy side.

For a porky treat, the big ‘ S’ pork ribs come highly rec­om­mended. This Black Mar­ket best­seller comes stacked with six meaty ribs that are so well-mar­i­nated and de­li­cious that it’s good even on its own, never mind the ac­com­pa­ny­ing spe­cialty ‘black’ sauce. It would score higher marks if the meat is more fall-off-the-bone ten­der.

A good, sweet end­ing to pro­ceed­ings is the ap­ple cin­na­mon chill cheese­cake. It is beau­ti­fully pre­sented and has a scrump­tiously light, foamy tex­ture that de­li­ciously con­trasts with the ap­ple cin­na­mon base.
