Savour scrump­tious and de­light­ful high tea of­fer­ings amidst re­fined splen­dour and a mon­u­men­tal horse sculp­ture.

The Af­ter­noon Tea set starts off with a round of savoury canapés, boast­ing of four va­ri­eties: sweet wine and port ter­rine foie gras on toasted brioche; king crab, av­o­cado and sakura mix; Scot­tish smoked sal­mon and chives crème fraiche on rye; and egg may­on­naise, black truf­fle. These are re­plen­ish­able as there is staff reg­u­larly mak­ing the rounds with a tray loaded with the del­i­ca­cies.

Next, there’s a three-tier tray com­pris­ing scones and other pas­tries. The cran­berry and plain scones (at the bot­tom tier) is de­lec­ta­ble in terms of tex­ture and flavour, which are further en­hanced with rhubarb jam and English cream. Then, the mid­dle tier sees of­fer­ings of double choco­late cookie shoot­ers, a choc-lover’s de­light with its lus­cious liq­uid choco­late en­cased within a choco­late chip cookie. Top­ping the tray are more deca­dent dessert of­fer­ings such as mac­arons, a lemon tart, green tea cup­cake and a choco­late mint sen­sa­tion.
