This rel­a­tive new kid on the block is worth re­peated vis­its if you’re look­ing to in­dulge in de­li­cious Ital­ian favourites, tasty and re­ward­ing drinks within a classy set­ting.

An­tipasti of moz­zarella in carozza is a crunchy way to start the meal. Served with a side of greens, the outer fried layer, de­spite hav­ing the right crispy tex­ture, slightly over­pow­ers the cheesy good­ness inside.

The 200 grams Wagyu mar­ble 9 is a ro­bust main meat dish, with the tex­ture done right. It comes with a tasty side of aglio olio and greens. For carbs, the mush­room and truf­fle risotto sees savoury risotto meld­ing ex­cep­tion­ally well with the mush­rooms and truf­fle.

Savini’s menu fea­tures a wide se­lec­tion of dishes, in­clud­ing for desserts – a def­i­nite plus point is the num­ber of in­trigu­ing sor­bet and ge­lato flavours for the pick­ing. Safe op­tions such as the tiramisu and choco­late cake comes with a serv­ing of bal­samic sor­bet and laven­der ge­lato re­spec­tively. Just like the mains, the desserts are pleasing to both the eyes and tongue, boast­ing rich flavours im­mac­u­lately bal­anced off with the light icy of­fer­ings.
