While clichéd per­haps, there is some­thing for every­one here and it’s a truly fussy diner who can’t find some­thing to order as West­ern, Asian, In­dian and Malaysian dishes are all avail­able. Com­fort food best de­scribes the in­ter­na­tional fare on of­fer.

Order the na­chos while con­tem­plat­ing the rest of the menu and en­joy cheesy and spicy (pick­led chilli) corn chips with tangy dips. A dish of five deep-fried seafood pako­ras with a tangy mint sauce is a good in­tro­duc­tion to other In­dian dishes served such as spicy chicken tan­doori.

Souled Out’s sir­loin steak must be one of KL’S best steak of­fers with a gen­er­ous por­tion at a de­cent price al­though the ac­com­pa­ny­ing veg­eta­bles could do with a re­vamp. Save room for a rea­son­ably au­then­tic ren­di­tion of an Aussie (or Kiwi) Pavlova with lash­ings of fresh cream and chunks of fruit as the por­tion is gen­er­ous and best shared.
