A lesson on using the email

“Type in the subject of your email,” said my teacher, Mrs Pinto. I was having my English lesson. My teacher was teaching me how to use email. I could not wait to get started.

I listened attentively to what Mrs Pinto was saying. Each of us had our own email account so we could send letters to our friends. I typed in my best friend’s email address. Then I began typing a letter to her. It was more fun than writing. When I finished, I asked my teacher how I could insert ‘smileys’ like I had seen my older brother doing. My teacher showed me which icon to press. A box filled with ‘smileys’ appeared. I selected the one that I wanted and inserted it at the end of my email. When I was done, I read through my message once before clicking ‘send.’ In seconds, my letter was sent. A few minutes later, I heard my best friend giggling in the other row as she read my email. She sent one back to me immediately.

Everyone was sorry when the lesson came to an end. I decided to use my new email account to send messages to my friends. I could even send one to my mother, who was at work.
