Eavesdrop – to listen to someone speaking without them knowing it

I saw my sister eavesdrop on our brother.

Do not eavesdrop on me, because I will be very upset. Did you ever eavesdrop on anyone?

It is not a good idea to eavesdrop on people.

Edgy – the newest style; the most resent trends/ideas

I love that dress. That dress is very edgy. That car is so edgy. I really want a new car. We love all the new edgy fashion.

Edgy – nervous; anxious, uneasy; irritable My sister is very edgy, since she broke her leg. Does your teacher ever get edgy or is she always calm? My father lost his job. and now he is always edgy.

Even - means that something is a surprise or unusual

I even passed my exam.

My teacher never even heard what I said.

It is raining so much, that even the roads are flooded. The food was so bad, that even my brother did not eat. The people got so upset, that even the police came. There was so much traffic, that even my teacher came late to school.

Greedy - having or taking more than someone needs or should have

I don’t like greedy people. I like people that are fair. My mother is never greedy. She is very fair.

My dog is greedy. He tries to take all the bones for himself.

There are some very greedy people in the world.

Do you know any greedy people? Grouchy – someone that is in a bad mood; illtempere­d; nasty

The man is the store is very grouchy.

My mother is never grouchy. She is very kind. My dog is grouchy. He is not feeling well today. There are some very grouchy people in the world. Why is your teacher so grouchy all the past few days? Why are you so grouchy today? Are you feeling well?

Hermit – is someone that lives without any contact with people

I think there is a hermit, who is living in the mountain near my town.

Do you ever want to live like a hermit, in the forest?

I heard there are many hermits in Alaska, United States. My brother is like a hermit. He hides in his room all the time.
