Furious Elaine Ng says Jackie Chan did not pay any alimony

-

HONG KONG: Superstar Jackie Chan, who is nursing a publicity ‘black eye’ after the arrest of his son Jaycee on a drugs-related charge, has taken another blow when his former wife Elaine Ng disclosed on a TV broadcast that he had not paid her any alimony.

Publicity-wise, it’s probably the worst year in Jackie’s life

Also, it’s probably the worst timing ever, since a slew of his movies are being readied for release to capitalise on the festivities of Christmas and Lunar New Year.

An irate Elaine, 42, who is a former Miss Asia, also made it clear that she no longer wishes to be linked with Jackie.

“It’s all in the past,” said Elaine with a huff during the interview. “I don’t have a relationship with that person (Jackie) anymore.”

Jackie and Elaine had an affair when he was at the peak of his career. In 1999, she gave birth to Etta, who also bore the surname Ng. Elaine has always claimed that Jackie is the father.

Initially, Jackie had denied that he had fathered Etta. An agitated Elaine then demanded for a DNA test. In the end, she decided to raise Etta on her own.

For a distraught Elaine, Jackie’s denial was the last straw. But the consolation is that

It’s all in the past. I don’t have a relationship with that person (Jackie) anymore.

Elaine and Etta are very close together, and she finds comfort in the company of a daughter who cares very much for her.

Like her mother, Etta wants nothing to do with Jackie.

Last December, Japanese actress Aki Mizusawa admitted that she had an affair with Jackie for over a year, at a time when he was married with a son.

When this report reached Elaine’s ears, she dismissed it with the remark: “Whatever! Not my problem!”

Apart from Mizusawa, Jackie had also been romantically linked with a string of showbiz personalities such as Rosamund Kwan, Zhang Ziyi, Li Ting, Fan Bingbing, Xu Jinglei and Korean actress Kim Hee Sun.
