VitaHealth gives back to society via charity event

KUALA LUMPUR: VitaHealth, in support of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia ( NCSM) presented a charity event “A Guide to Better Health through the 5-Element Analysis” at Joey Yap Conference Centre.

VitaHealth aspires to continuous­ly enrich the lives of all people.

Hence, it has always been at the forefront in developing highqualit­y, innovative products while giving back to the communitie­s through its ongoing commitment to social responsibi­lity.

VitaHealth has been pledging its support to the NCSM in various CSR initiative­s.

Through this event, VitaHealth has successful­ly raised a total of RM17,226 from the sum of RM33 from each admission ticket. Eddie Tie, the group managing director /CEO of Vita Life Sciences (Australia) Limited and his wife, Dr. June Poon contribute­d RM12,000, bringing the total proceeds to RM29,226.

Proceeds were channeled towards the NCSM’s Education, Care and Support programmes.

VitaHealth sincerely hopes that its initiative will bring about additional resources to help advance cancer prevention and treatment, besides bringing hope and cheer to the cancer patients in their fight against this dreadful disease.

It is also part of VitaHealth’s initiative­s to draw attention to the importance of health among the public.

It hopes that its efforts will help in the early detection and treatment of cancer and other diseases as well.

In this connection, it also invited Dr. Dalilah Kamaruddin, head of Cancer & Health Screening Clinic at the NCSM to talk on cancer prevention based on a healthy lifestyle.

VitaHealth will continue to stand in support of NCSM as they journey together in the quest for better health and optimal well-being now and in the years ahead.
