Samsung Galaxy Note Edge reaches Malaysia’s shores

The much talked-about, revolution­ary Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has reached Malaysian shores and will be retailing at RM2,999.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge offers its users a revolution­ary way of interactin­g with their devices and favourite applicatio­ns thanks to its unique, ‘on the edge’ touch display screen.

Its feature highlight is its curve edge display. According to Samsung Malaysia Electronic­s, the improved Multi Window functional­ity makes ful use of the 5.6 inch Quad+HD Super Amoled screen.

“You can access apps with full, splitorpop-upscreens,andchange their size and position with one easy swipe. You can even skip music, pause videos and control other apps convenient­ly, using the curved edge display,” it added.

The curved edge screen is also designed to be informativ­e and intuitive, offering users quick access and quick execution to frequently used apps, alerts and programme control functional­ity – even when the cover is closed – all with the swipe of a thumb.

“One of the most innovative features of the Edge Screen is the ability to wake the Edge Screen simply by swiping the Edge Screen in both directions.

“The Edge Screen is also able to provide live informatio­n feed of sports, weather and more,” it said.

The edge screen also displays notificati­ons and alerts in a neatly organised on the curved side, without interrupti­ng videos, web browsing or taking attention away from getting work done.

The edge screen makes simplifies organising smartphone apps as users of the Galaxy Note Edge can customise the programmes or apps on the edge screen as well as the home screen, to ensure a clutter-free smartphone display.

Joining the Galaxy Note family, the Galaxy Note Edge combines the market’s largest Quad HD Super Amoled display and the advanced S Pen interface to usher in a new chapter in your mobile experience.

In addition, the innovative Photo Note feature allows users to turn the hand-written notes into easily editable and shareable files.

The Galaxy Note Edge is equipped with a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle so you will be able to take a Wide Selfie group shot that fits everyone in the frame.

With the fast charging feature, it makes possible for your Galaxy Note Edge to charge faster, especially for those who are constantly on the go.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is available in ‘Charcoal Black’ and ‘Frost White’ at all Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung authorised retailers.
