The launching of Dorsett Grand Labuan Herb Garden was officiated by the hotel’s general manager, Alfred Paulsen.

Some 30 people including media members, long-term guests as well as head of departments and staff joined hands as they made history by planting the first batch of herbs located at the back entrance of the hotel’s exterior.

A dozen common culinary local herbs including curry tree, galangal, turmeric, ginger flower, bird’s eye chilli pepper and ginger were planted to provide fresh produce for the hotel’s restaurants.
