Junior Rhinos hope home ground advantage will reward them with first win

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will be banking on home ground advantage when they take on Negeri Sembilan in a Youth Cup league fixture today.

To be played at the Penampang Stadium, the state under-19 junior Rhinos hoped playing in front of the home crowd would spur them on to fashion a first win of the campaign.

And against Negeri Sembilan, Sabah would take on a team that are only slightly better in terms of their league position in the the 15-team table.

Sabah have not won since the start of the season, losing all six of the matches to sit at the foot of the table.

As for Negeri Sembilan, they are 12th on five points but with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, head coach Razali Zinin will be forced to make at least three changes to face Negeri Sembilan after the sending-off of as many players last Sunday.

Ranilson Batuil, Yuseddy Yusiman and Mohd Sollehuddi­n Akmad received two yellow cards each in the 0-1 defeat to Kuala Lumpur.

"Hopefully the players replacingt­hem will deliver...we need to win this game," said Razali.

Razali also said that they have roped in new players in Fuad Amin and Syazwan Lamsin ofLabuan, who are striker and midfielder respective­ly.

Sabah'sother results saw them losing to Malacca 1-3, Sarawak 0-1, Kelantan 1-2, Perlis 0-5 and Penang 1-2.
