JCI to hold Sabah Train The Trainer training
KOTA KINABALU: Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malaysia Area Sabah will be organizing the 2015 Area Sabah Train-The-Trainer (TTT) whereby JCI Intan, JCI Kota Kinabalu, JCI Luyang, JCI Moyog and JCI Tanjung Aru will be coorganising a three-day two-night training from August 14 to 16.
According to organising chairperson Jennee Chang from JCI Tanjung Aru, JCIM 2015 Area Sabah TTT will be held at the Youth and Sports Ministry in Putatan and is targeting a maximum of 50 participants from local organizations in Area Sabah.
Jennee said the main objective of this program is to explore more future talented trainers and to build a team of competent trainers among Sabah local organisations that can export our trainers to West Malaysia, Asia Pacific or even the world.
Deputy chairperson President Elaine from JCI Moyog said TTT is open to all members from Area Sabah JCI which include east coast such as Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau. This training is free of charge for all JCI members.
JCI Malaysia Area Sabah 2015 Area training director Alvis Loo has invited JCI member Garry Chow, who is a certified trainer of Human Resources Development Council Malaysia to be the official head trainer for Area Sabah TTT.
Garry is endorsed by JCIM Area Sabah committees, which is led by 2015 JCIM Area Sabah chairman Kent Pon.
This year JCIM Area Sabah’s theme is “Action to Impact”. With this theme, the 2015 JCIM National Executive Vice President Assigned to Area Sabah, Kent Pon, plans to enhance the quantity and quality of trainers among area Sabah, instil values of Active Citizenship, and create better connections in order to support JCI Area Sabah local organisation’s needs.
Hence, it will motivate trainers to have a heart to bring positive impact to create sustainability towards the society.
“This is a good chance for JCI local organizations, especially for JCI Luyang and JCI Moyog as they are young local organizations, to co-organize such project for JCIM Area Sabah as we can unite the goal and direction better and believe we will make another achievement,” said Jennee.
