MIRI: More than 1,000 fans were screaming on top of their lungs and having the time of their lives during Korean boy band BigFlo’s appearance at Bintang Megamall Thursday evening.

Six-member BigFlo was formed in 2014 under HO-Company, which is made up of Jung-kyun, Ron, Yoo-seong, ZUK, HighTop and Ki-chun. They not only mesmerized their fans with their handsome looks and sultry voice, but also caught the fans’ heart with five popular tracks including ‘Delilah’ and ‘Obliviate’.

“We are so honoured to be able to invite the boy band from Korea to perform as part of Bintang Megamall’s 20th anniversary celebrations,” Bintang Megamall event manager Allen Wong told reporters yesterday.

In between the two-hour performances, thrilled fans were given the opportunity to get close and personal with the BigFlos as well as a selfie session.

“We are actually excited as this is our first time in Miri and it will add to our record of visit to this part of South East Asia,” BigFlo leader Jung-kyun said during an interview.

Being a young boy group among the big names, Jung-kyun said it took a lot of hard work from composing to performing and producing to become well known.

“Releasing EP or mini album enables us to focus on one or two songs at a time because all members get to participate in the process. After the completion of the whole song, we would cooperate on the performance part. We believe that though fans may need to wait a little longer for BigFlo to produce a full album the best things would eventually come later,” he said.

BigFlo has fans from all around the world including fans from USA, Peru, Indonesia, Germany, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Argentina, France, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Taiwan, Brazil, Turkey, Thailand and Malaysia.
