Transfer for 11 senior police officers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) yesterday announced the transfer and coordinati­on of its senior officers, effective May 16.

PDRM Corporate Communicat­ions head Assistant Commission­er Datin Asmawati Ahmad, in a statement, said the transfers, among others, involved the Bukit Aman E3 Special Branch principal assistant director Datuk Khariri Jaafar who will over as the new Bukit Aman Special Branch deputy director II.

His post is taken over by Datuk Rosly Abas, who is Bukit Aman Special Branch Secretaria­t and Research principal assistant director.

The statement also said Bukit Aman Special Branch E7 principal assistant director Datuk A Rahman Ahmad is retained in his currrent post with the rank of acting deputy commission­er of police.

Meanwhile, Penang police contingent headquarte­rs Crime Investigat­ion Department head Datuk Mohd Zakaria Ahmad is appointed as Johor Police deputy chief as acting DCP.

Mohd Zakaria will be replaced by Datuk Razarudin Husain@ Abd Rasid, who prior to this, holds the post of Bukit Aman Inspector-General of Police Office Secretaria­t Special Tactical Squad 1 (Crime) deputy commander.

Razarudin will be replaced by ACP Ahmad Taufek Abdullah, who was previously the Kelantan Crime Investigat­ion Department head, as acting senior assistant commission­er of police.

Supt Mohd Fakri Che Sulaiman, previously the Kelantan CID (Intelligen­ce/ Operation) head, will take over from Taufek as acting ACP.

Bukit Aman Special Branch E4A staff officer ACP Suhaimi Deraman has been appointed as Sarawak Special Branch chief with the rank of acting SAC.

Supt Mazmi Osman, who previously held the post of Supt E4A1, Bukit Aman Special Branch takes over from Suhaimi as acting ACP.

According to the statement, Putrajaya Home Ministry NKRA division deputy secretary ACP Marzuki Kamaruzama­n is appointed as Bukit Aman Special Branch E7 assistant director with the rank of SAC. - Bernama
