KOTA KINABALU: September 2016 marks another milestone in ATI College calendar as this auspicious day witnessess the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between HELP University and Asian Tourism International College (ATI College) in an effort for continued improvement in providing the best education in this region.

Henry Lim, the Executive Vice President of Help International Corporation and Defiry Ubin, the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of ATI College signed the MOA on behalf of the university and the college respectively.

This MOA has developed an excellent pathway as it extends the international collaboration network in the education line for both higher learning institutions, as well as bringing new frontiers and focuses on the international standards of education.

This collaboration establishes a 2+2 study package with dual qualifications for Form Five school leavers to complete their Bachelor Degree study in four years at minimal fees.

Students, who enroll into this study package, will first spend two years to study in ATI College plus one-semester internship. This will let students earn a diploma qualification from ATI College before proceeding to one-year study in HELP CAT at Kuala Lumpur and one-year study in Upper Iowa University at Fayette campus, USA.

Upon completion of the study, students will be awarded Bachelor of Science in anyone of the following majors: Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Communication Studies and Psychology. Upper Iowa University, established in 1857, is the awarding institution for this study.

Being established 20 years ago as one of the first homegrown colleges in Sabah and in the 30th year of producing top achievers, both ATI College and HELP University respectively are in pursuit of sustaining and extending the education opportunity not only to the urban areas but also to those in the rural areas through the School Tourism Outreach Program (STOP) and School Achiever Scholarship Award (SASA).

This is done as a continuous effort to strive for excellence in providing top quality education in line with the vision of the country to develop this nation as a high-income nation status by 2020.

ATI College and HELP University will look forward to a productive and wonderful partnership for many years to come.
