GRAPHIC DESIGN is a challenging field for those with a deep interest in visual communication design and visual arts. The visual arts they produce bring out the talents and creativity of a person. It is achieved in consultation with programmers, printers and sign makers.

As the most wide-ranging of creative disciplines, graphic design is one of the fastest growing sections and the future is bright for those with proper qualifications. Realizing on the potential, MSU College through its School of Sciences & Technology (SST) offers Diploma in Graphic Design for students to explore wonders in developing skills in graphic design creatively and became the new generation of highly skilled creative innovative workforce in the future.

The programme is a comprehensive course designed towards providing the relevant skills in acquiring knowledge and research, and applying them to design solutions for industry-related projects.

The course offers various subjects that have been chosen thoroughly to prepare students to face reallife work challenges. This includes visual communication, typography, communication skills, advertising design and interactive multimedia.

Those who complete the course will have the opportunity to become graphic designers in numerous commercial positions across both print and digital media.

Their work as professional designers may include or have links to areas such as advertising and promotion, art direction, branding, corporate identity, instructional design, packaging, signage and web design.

This 2 1/2-year diploma programme requires a pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM/SPMV), with three credits in any subject, or a MSU College certificate in a relevant field with passes in all subjects.
