Prudential’s Cha-Ching, Duit Right and Celik Kewangan programmes

-

ANOTHER strong player financial literacy is insurance firm Prudential, with its Cha-Ching program -- a financial literacy program to help parents in Asia help build smart money values for children. It’s target audience are children aged 7 to 12.

Duit Right is a similar program but uniquely designed for secondary school youths and aims to empower them to make positive financial decisions by helping them understand good money management habits.

Celik Kewangan on the other hand is designed for adults from urban low income households who often face challenges with money management. It aims to give them a simple understanding of the money management concepts and identify practical ways which will help them handle their financial decisions.

“One of the challenges that the life insurance industry face is to increase the awareness and understanding in insurance and financial planning matters of Malaysians. Prudential’s efforts to educate Malaysians to be financially savvy extend beyond just the insurance products/solutions we provide.

“Financial education is also a key pillar in our community investment programmes where our aim is to build a financially literate and resilient Malaysian society,” said Fiona Liao, Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd (PAMB), chief brand officer to BizHIve Weekly.
