High potential for collaborat­ion between state foundation­s

KOTA KINABALU: There are a lot of potential for collaborat­ion between all State Foundation­s in education developmen­t as well as commercial, said Director of Yayasan Sabah, Datuk Sapawi Bin Haji Ahmad at a sharing session between the State Foundation­s held at Wisma Innoprise yesterday.

“It is a rare opportunit­y to gather all State Foundation­s at the same place and time. Therefore, Yayasan Sabah Group took the initiative to organise a sharing session between all State Foundation­s to discuss common issues faced by each State Foundation,” said Sapawi.

The sharing session was held in conjunctio­n with the 12th Inter State Foundation Games (PESAYA) organised in Kota Kinabalu from November 11 to 18. Through the sharing session, the State Foundation­s exchanged ideas and discussed among others, potential for collaborat­ion in education developmen­t as well as in commercial. It is hoped that the State Foundation­s will benefit from the sharing session.

The sharing session was attended by Directors, General Managers and Chief Executive Officers from Yayasan Pelajaran Johor, Yayasan Selangor, Yayasan Perak, Yayasan Negeri Sembilan, Yayasan Wilayah Persekutua­n, Yayasan Islam Negeri Kedah, Yayasan Kelatan Darulnaim, Yayasan Melaka, Yayasan Pahang, Yayasan Islam Perlis, Yayasan Sarawak, Yayasan Terengganu and Yayasan Sabah Group as the host.
