Sabah Travel and Lifestyle Fair lucky draw winners
KOTA KINABALU: The grand prize of the recent Sabah Travel and Lifestyle Fair 2017 lucky draw went to Magdelena who won an Economy Class return ticket to Singapore, sponsored by Silk Air.
The second, third and fourth prizes went to Lee Moi Yin, Stance Wong and Sylvia Desmond Lee respectively.
Lee, Stance and Sylvia each won two MASwings complementary tickets to Tarakan, Mulu and Tawau, respectively.
The fourth prize was a gift voucher from Narada Hotel, Putatan which went to Wong Yun Fong.
Wong will be enjoying a two-day-and-one night stay at Narada's Superior Room and the voucher will be valid till June 30 this year.
The fifth and sixth prizes consisted of two boxes of Saree materials, which amounted to RM750 and RM450 each, respectively.
The Saree materials were sponsored by Farnes Fanes Collection and it went to Rozilah Rubin and Chin Shak Ha, respectively.
At the announcement of winners yesterday, IEC Midas' Managing Director, Dolly Jimayol told reporters that the recent Sabah Travel and Lifestyle Fair was a huge success.
According to Dolly, the exhibition was attended by almost 5,000 visitors and it featured 30 exhibitors.
Twenty-eight of the exhibitors were from Sabah and the other two were from Kuala Lumpur and Miri.
Dolly also noted that most of the exhibitors made huge sales. She cited Ming Garden Hotel, Kota Kinabalu as an example.
“Ming Garden Hotel managed to sell 16 of their wedding dinner packages at our exhibition,” said Dolly.
Among the other successful exhibitors were Love and Love Bridal, Times Holiday and Sabah Women Affairs Department which offered attractive massage packages to visitors.
“Overall, the response from the exhibitors and visitors were very good and promising,” added Dolly.
Also present at the event, which was held at IEC Midas headquarters, were Jessie Lee, the executive secretary of the Sabah Association of Tours and Travel Agencies (SATA), Ashilla Sabin, a representative from MASwings' Communications Department, and Kenneth J. Ansibin, Narada Hotel's sales manager.
