Qatar condemns Sinai explosion

DOHA: Qatar on Thursday strongly condemned the explosion which took place in the middle of the Sinai Peninsula, killing at least 10 Egyptian officers and soldiers, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

In a statement Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives or reasons.

The statement expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the Egyptian people.
