Acer Malaysia unveils three gaming devices for work, leisure

KUALA LUMPUR: Acer Malaysia has unveiled three gaming devices designed for both work and leisure -- Acer Aspire VX 15 laptop, Acer KG251Q and KG271 monitors as well as Acer desktop GX781.

In a statement yesterday, Acer Sales & Services Sdn Bhd Director of Products, Johnson Seet, said as the market leader in the industry, Acer was known for products with meaningful innovations and superior performance.

“Our products are designed to improve usability, meet the real needs of the customers, both for work and leisure, and these include innovating devices for the gaming community,” said Seet.

Acer Malaysia said the Acer Aspire VX 15 laptop, powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel® CoreTM i7 HQ processor, offers an exceptional performance with lower battery consumption.

The Acer KG1 Series gaming monitors, KG251Q and KG271, are Acer’s first ever gaming monitors to come with a 75-hertz refresh rate in Malaysia, it said.

It said the monitors can work with a FreeSync-supporting graphics card to eliminate screen tearing and minimise lag and latency.

“Coupled with the Adaptive-Sync technology, users will enjoy fluidlike, smooth gaming experiences and video playbacks,” said Acer Malaysia. The Acer Aspire GX781 desktop is equipped with up to 7th Gen Intel® CoreTM processors, up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 graphics to perform gaming and graphics-intensive tasks in a brilliant way, it said.
