Kim Go-eun denies dating rumour with ‘Guardian’ co-star
SEOUL: Kim Go-eun and Shin Ha-kyun’s break up has sparked rumours that Kim is dating Gong Yoo, her co-star on recent hit drama ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God’.
However, both Kim and her agency denied the rumours.
Kim’s agency HODU&U Entertainment confirmed Kim and Shin broke up on Wednesday, saying that they split due to their busy schedules.
Soon after the announcement, a rumour spread that Kim is dating Gong Yoo.
Also, when Kim recently recreated her Instagram account, she posted a “wedding” photo of Gong and herself from the drama as the first photo while leaving out the photo with Shin which was on her previous account.
“We’ve heard about the rumour saying that Gong and Kim are dating,” HODU&U said on Wednesday. “That’s just a rumour without any grounds.”
“There’s smoke, a lot, without fire,” wrote the CEO of Gong’s agency Management Soop on Instagram referring to the rumour.
Shin, 42, and Kim, 25, got to know each other while enjoying scuba diving in Cebu, Philippines, and started dating in June. Kim even signed a contract with Shin’s agency in August 2016, after her previous contract expired.
Shin recently starred in thriller-comedy ‘Room 7’, set to hit cinemas this year and started filming for a romantic-comedy, ‘Wind Wind Wind’, on Mar 13.
