Senior Citizens Associatio­n holds installati­on ceremony

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Associatio­n of Senior Citizens (SASC) recently held its 15th installati­on ceremony at Sri Tanjung Restaurant followed by a dinner banquet to celebrate the Harvest Festival and Hari Raya.

The installati­on ceremony was witnessed by Parti Bersatu Sabah deputy president cum Sustainabl­e Energy Developmen­t Authority (SEDA) Malaysia chairman Datuk Dr Yee Moh Chai.

In his speech, Dr Yee congratula­ted the newly appointed management committee members led by its president, Datuk William Chai Tian Sung.

“I want to thank each and every member for your contributi­ons in helping to shape our nation, as everyone still has a role to play and should continue to contribute, especially in advising and guiding the younger generation, to ensure our country is able to achieve its aspiration­s of being a fully developed nation,” he said.

The Sabah Associatio­n of Senior Citizens newly installed office bearers for the term 2017-2019 are: president Datuk William Chai Tian Sung, deputy president Robert Chang @ Chang Kon Hee, vice president Michael Pang Swie Fong, honorary secretary Hendry Khoo Taw Yong, assistant secretary Tan Ching Chua, honorary treasurer Joseph Liew Siew Yin, assistant treasurer Jessie Kok Chit Ngeok, and nine ordinary management committee members.
